2. Description of Service
PingScanner provides free web-based network utility tools, including latency measurement, game server ping estimates, and public IP lookup information. All tools are offered for informational and diagnostic purposes only.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use PingScanner strictly for lawful diagnostic and testing activities. You agree NOT to:
- Use the scanning service to execute Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, flood servers, or perform unauthorized port scanning on third-party infrastructure.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the stability of PingScanner or its underlying cloud proxies.
- Scrape or abuse backend API endpoints via automated scripts at volumes that degrade service for other users.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The services and latency measurements provided by PingScanner are delivered on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. Network latency calculations represent estimates based on client-side HTTP/TCP measurements and regional cloud proxy nodes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or absolute precision under all ISP conditions.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PingScanner, its authors, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss or in-game latency discrepancies.
6. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of PingScanner following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
